Eng. RIYADH M ALKATHIRI

Eng. Riyadh Alkathiri holds a BSc.in Architectural Engineering from KFUPM. He worked for the Ministry Of Environment, Water and Agriculture as a construction manager and supervisor for water networks and facilities. He managed to supervise many water projects in Makkah province as the head of Construction Management Department and Design and Studies Department. Eng. Alkathiri has an experience of over 30 years in water management in both technical and administrative capacities. He is knowledgeable of Legislations and regulations of water and soil. His long experience had gained the respect of the ministry and the merit of becoming an active member of the team in charge of planning the national water strategy until 2050. He is a certified Value Engineering specialist since 2007. He retired from the ministry in 2018, after which he cofounded the Alternative Energy Systems Company in 2019 and appointed the CEO. Eng. Alkathiri is a cofounder of Rakizah Mining Co. and the Chairman of the Board.
